| Things to consider for your next cabin rental experience. Do you
know what to expect? Pets: Many cabin rental companies do not allow pets. Be sure to ask
if they are pet friendly before you bring your pet. Another consideration is allergies. If you are
allergic to some pets then you may want to stay at a no-pets rental.
Babies, children and elderly: Many cabins are located in rough
terrain. The roads may be rough, the entries may have large and steep
stairways and the hot tubs may not be child proof. Some of the deck railing
may not be to your liking when it comes to child safety. Stairways to
bedrooms may be difficult. Some of these cabins were built before there were
building codes for stairways. Ask questions if you have any concerns
of this nature.
Type: Are you looking to rough it or do want to be pampered in
luxury? Find out who the average renter is when you look for a cabin rental
in the North Georgia Mountains. Their are a wide range of cabins, locations,
and amenities.
Cleaning & Maintenance: Do you want hotel style room service
and cleaning? Some rentals have 24 hour staff and some you may never see
anyone the entire stay. Some people are looking forward to seeing nobody but
the deer and other wildlife while others may find themselves in an very odd
situation, tranquil can sometimes be a little scary for city folks. You
could be the only human for a mile or you could find a cabin that you can
see the next rental cabin only 20 yards away.
Clothing: Find out what shoes and clothing are recommended. The
terrain will be different to say the least but the weather may be completely
different than the town your are visiting from.
Safety: Will your cell phone service be available? Do they have
phones in the room? What is the closest medical center?
These are just a few of things you may have overlooked or not yet
considered for your Georgia cabin rental adventure. Did you find these tips to be
helpful? YES -------
